Every one of these
ends in a check you can run yourself.

If a check comes back clean you have saved the money. If it does not, you know which problem you actually have before anybody quotes you for it. Nothing here carries a borrowed statistic or a percentage without a source, which is why some of them are shorter than the version you will find elsewhere.

Why these are shorter than the competition

Length is not completeness.

Earlier versions of several of these ran to six or eight thousand words. Most of that was borrowed research, invented percentages and counters about how much work had been done. All of it came out, because a number without a source makes the numbers next to it worthless.

What replaced it is the part only somebody who has done the work knows: field names, edition limits, the exact wording of errors, and the path through the interface. That is harder to write and shorter to read.
