California Privacy Notice

This notice is for residents of California. It supplements the privacy policy and explains rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

1Who this applies to

Natural persons resident in California whose personal information is collected by Solutions4sf, operated by Serhii Skrypnyk, sole trader.

2What is collected

In the past twelve months, these categories have been collected from California residents:

Analytics is off until you turn it on, and the choice can be changed at any time on the privacy policy page.

3What it is used for

• Providing consulting services when you are a client
• Replying to enquiries sent through the contact form or by email
• Understanding which pages are useful, where analytics is allowed
• Meeting legal obligations
• Preventing abuse of the contact form

4Personal information is not sold or shared

Solutions4sf does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. That has not happened in the past twelve months and is not planned.

Personal information is disclosed to three parties only:

• Service providers who help operate the service, under written contracts forbidding them from using it for their own purposes.
• Legal authorities, under valid legal process.
• A buyer, in the event of a business transition. The business is currently a sole trader, so this is theoretical.

5Your rights

5.1 Right to know

You may ask what categories of personal information have been collected, where they came from, why they were collected, who they were disclosed to, and what specific pieces are held.

5.2 Right to delete

You may ask for deletion, subject to exceptions such as completing a transaction, meeting a legal obligation or detecting a security incident.

5.3 Right to correct

You may ask for inaccurate personal information to be corrected.

5.4 Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

Sensitive personal information is not collected, so there is nothing to limit.

5.5 Right to opt out of sale or sharing

Personal information is not sold or shared, so there is nothing to opt out of. Analytics, which is a separate matter, is off until you turn it on.

5.6 Right to non-discrimination

Exercising any of these rights changes nothing about the service you receive or the price you pay.

5.7 Authorised agent

You may appoint an agent to act for you. Verification of the agent’s authority and of your identity may be required.

6How to exercise them

Email [email protected] with "California privacy request" and your name in the subject. Include which right you want to use, enough information to verify who you are, and a clear description of what you want.

• Acknowledgement within ten business days.
• Substantive answer within forty five days, or notice if an extension is needed.
• Verification by matching information already held, such as the email address the enquiry came from.
• No charge, unless requests are excessive or repetitive.

7How long it is kept

• Enquiries. Three years from the last contact, then deleted unless you become a client.
• Client engagement records. The length of the contract plus seven years, under Ukrainian tax law and professional liability requirements.
• Analytics, where allowed. Fourteen months.
• Email. Three years unless you ask for deletion sooner.

8People under sixteen

Personal information is not knowingly collected from California residents under sixteen, and nothing from anyone under sixteen is sold or shared. If you are under sixteen and believe information about you is held here, write and it will be deleted.

9Changes

The latest version of this notice is always at this address, and the date at the top reflects the last change.
